During the second half of October an International Training Course about Well-ness and Well-being of Youth workers dealing with young people with fewer opportunities took place in Vác, Hungary.
This project is supported by Erasmus Plus Programme and it is involving 7 organizations form 6 countries: Hungary, Italy, Estonia, Spain, Turkey and Czech Republic.
MRSZ Alapítvány – ÖDE was the referent organization for this project, in cooperation with
Commissione Sinodale per la Diaconia, Slezska Diakonie, Mittetulundusühing VitaTiim,
Patronato De Bienestar Social, Kadin ve Genc Girisim Merkezi Dernegi, Insight – education project design.
The goals of this project are to promote wellness and well-being in the youth field for workers who are dealing particularly with disadvantaged groups, to learn, practice and experience tools and methods which can be useful to prevent risks and burn-out situations and fostering quality improvements and cooperation in youth work at International and local level.
It was really successful the support of the initiative by partner organizations and the active participation of a multicultural group of participants, 3 for each organization.
During the activities a „Decalogue” of good practices for a Youth Worker in Well-being has been created to spread information, tools, methods, experiences in Youth work.
The project is lasting until the middle of december but the cooperation among professionals and organizations involved is going to go further and the results achieved to be disseminated at local and International level.
